What is a Culvert?
A culvert is an under-grade structure beneath roadways or railways to provide cross drainage of storm water from side to side. They can be made of concrete, aluminum, polyethylene, etc. and provides a safe passage for water, wildlife and drivers on the road. Regular maintenance of culverts is required over the years to ensure the health and safety of the public and the environment.
