Bolson will assist land developers to obtain development permit for any improvements and/or developments. A development permit allows the construction of a structure based on the zoning regulations. Many issues can arise where no development permit is in place. For example, it may not be possible to obtain a development permit for certain structures such as a convenience store in the river valley. The structures on the site must comply with the municipal zoning bylaw. If the option is available, Bolson can facilitate rezoning the property in order to comply with zoning bylaws.
A building permit allows the structure to be constructed based on building code requirements. For example, a storage facility building may be allowed and a development permit will be issued. However, that storage facility may have certain architectural requirements such as the building can only be one story in the area you want to build.
